This study reveals that dietary stachyose enriches Butyricimonas virosa, effectively attenuating metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Mechanistically, B. virosa enhances gut thiamine monophosphate synthesis, which elevates hepatic thiamine pyrophosphate levels.

Evidence for a Shallow Evolution in the Volume Densities of Massive Galaxies at z = 4–8 from CEERS
We analyze the evolution of massive (log _10 [ M _⋆ / M _⊙ ] > 10) galaxies at z ∼ 1–4 selected from JWST Cosmic Evolution Early Release Survey (CEERS). We infer the physical properties of all galaxies in the CEERS NIRCam imaging through spectral energy ...

Chemical evolution of galaxies and galaxy formation mechanisms [PDF]
I will describe the results if models for the chemical evolution of galaxies of different morphological type (ellipticals, spirals and irregulars), and compare them with observations in order to impose constraints on the mechianisms of formation and evolution of galaxies.

Formation and Evolution of Nucleated Galaxies [PDF]
AbstractWe discuss how stellar galactic nuclei (SGN) form and evolve during galaxy formation and evolution based on chemodynamical simulations on the central regions (1-1000 pc) of galaxies. Our simulations demonstrate that dissipative formation of SGN through rapid transfer of gas into the central 10 pc of galaxies is more consistent with recent ...

Substituent‐Based Modulation of Self‐Assembly and Immunogenicity of Amphipathic Peptides
This study systematically investigates how positional and subtle changes, such as substituents on the phenyl ring attached to short amphipathic peptides, influence their self‐assembly, fibril morphology, and immunogenic responses. ABSTRACT Self‐assembled peptide‐based biomaterials provide versatile platforms for biomedical uses, featuring customizable ...

Robust C–V Ratio Technique for Profiling Defects in Proton‐Irradiated 4H‐SiC
A noise‐robust C–V ratio technique is introduced to profile radiation‐induced defects in proton‐irradiated 4H‐SiC Schottky diodes. By using analytical capacitance ratios instead of numerical differentiation, the method directly extracts trap‐density and effective trap‐energy profiles at room temperature.

What Regulates Galaxy Evolution? Open questions in our understanding of galaxy formation and evolution [PDF]
In April 2013, a workshop entitled "What Regulates Galaxy Evolution" was held at the Lorentz Center. The aim of the workshop was to bring together the observational and theoretical community working on galaxy evolution, and to discuss in depth of the current problems in the subject, as well as to review the most recent observational constraints.

Tracing Galaxy Evolution by Their Present-Day Luminosity Function
Galaxy luminosity functions are derived for different morphological types and various colors of galaxies, to trace the evolutionary effects which a priori should be different for void and supercluster galaxies.
