α‐Helix‐Driven Regulation of Aqueous Circularly Polarized Luminescence in Homopolypeptide Self‐Assembly

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 6, Issue 10, October 2025.
We explore the hierarchical chirality transfer in self‐assembled fluorescent homopolypeptide systems for achieving aqueous circularly polarized luminescence (CPL), and reveal the α‐helix‐dominated CPL regulation mechanism during the self‐assembly process .

AIEgen‐Based and Smartphone‐Assisted On‐Site Quantitation of Cystatin C for Monitoring of Chronic Kidney Disease

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 6, Issue 10, October 2025.
By employing new protein‐templated AIEgen Ir@BSA as the phosphorescence signal indicator and papain as the biomolecular recognition element, a straightforward protocol for Cys C quantitation has been developed. On‐site quantitation of Cys C in clinical serum samples has been successfully demonstrated using a smartphone‐based portable phosphorescence ...

SDSS-C4 3028: the Nearest Blue Galaxy Cluster Devoid of an Intracluster Medium

open access: yesThe Open Journal of Astrophysics
SDSS-C4 3028 is a galaxy cluster at $z=0.061$, notable for its unusually high fraction of star-forming galaxies with 19 star-forming and 11 quiescent spectroscopically-confirmed member galaxies. From Subaru/HSC imaging, we derived a weak lensing mass of $

Tau Amyloid Corona‐Shelled Nanoparticle‐Based Drug Screening Platform for Discovering Tau Oligomer‐Degrading Drugs

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 6, Issue 10, October 2025.
Tau amyloid corona‐shelled nanoparticles (TACONs) were synthesized by incubating gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) with tau monomers that had been pre‐reacted with heparin. These TACONs represent a promising high‐throughput screening platform for identifying tau oligomer degraders as potential therapeutic agents for Alzheimer's disease.

The Heavy Metal Survey: The Evolution of Stellar Metallicities, Abundance Ratios, and Ages of Massive Quiescent Galaxies since z ∼ 2

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We present the elemental abundances and ages of 19 massive quiescent galaxies at z ∼ 1.4 and z ∼ 2.1 from the Keck Heavy Metal Survey. The ultradeep LRIS and MOSFIRE spectra were modeled using a full-spectrum stellar population fitting code with variable

Widespread Rapid Quenching at Cosmic Noon Revealed by JWST Deep Spectroscopy

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Massive quiescent galaxies in the young Universe are expected to be quenched rapidly, but it is unclear whether they all experience starbursts before quenching and what physical mechanism drives rapid quenching. We study 14 massive quiescent galaxies ( $\

A Massive Quiescent Galaxy in a Group Environment at z = 4.53

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We report on the spectroscopic confirmation of a massive quiescent galaxy at z _spec = 4.53 in the COSMOS field. The object was first identified as a galaxy with suppressed star formation at z _phot ∼ 4.65 from the COSMOS2020 catalog.
