Anatomy of the Star Formation in a Tidally Disturbed Disk Galaxy: NGC 3718
We present a UV, optical, and near-IR study of the star-forming complexes in the nearby peculiar galaxy NGC 3718, using Ultraviolet Imaging telescope, Galaxy Evolution Explorer, Spitzer, and DECam Legacy Survey imaging data.

The spiral structure of galaxies
We start from the author's metric for a rotating and accelerating Universe and we calculate the force acting on a particle in it. This force consists of two parts: one is derived from a potential, and the other describes a Coriolis force coming from the overall rotation of the Universe.

Forensic analysis and evaluation of file‐wiping applications in Android OS
Abstract Anti‐forensics refers to techniques designed to obstruct the discovery of evidence in digital forensic investigations. File‐wiping is one of the anti‐forensic techniques that make data recovery impossible by overwriting data with specific patterns. This technique poses significant challenges to investigators.

Mass and Metal Flows in Isolated IllustrisTNG Halos
The circumgalactic medium (CGM) is a reservoir of metals and star-forming fuel. Most baryons in the Universe are in the CGM or the intergalactic medium (IGM). The baryon cycle—how mass and metals reach the CGM from the inner regions of the galaxy and how

Spatial Dynamics and Lifespan of Adult Cicadas After Fire and Logging: A Radiotracking Study
This study investigates the effects of wildfire and post‐fire salvage logging on the survival, spatial behavior, and habitat selection of Lyristes plebejus cicadas in Mediterranean pine forests. A total of 63 cicadas were captured, tagged with radio transmitters, and released in three disturbance contexts: burnt‐logged, burnt‐unlogged, and unburnt ...

Ring or No Ring—Revisiting the Multiphase Nuclear Environment in M31
Nuclear rings, prevalent in barred galaxies, are essential to understanding gas transport toward galactic nuclei. However, the peculiar nuclear ring in our neighboring galaxy M31 remains poorly understood.
