Flow in porous media with low dimensional fractures by employing enriched Galerkin method
This paper presents the enriched Galerkin discretization for modeling fluid flow in fractured porous media using the mixed-dimensional approach. The proposed method has been tested against published benchmarks.

POD-Galerkin reduced order methods for CFD using Finite Volume Discretisation: vortex shedding around a circular cylinder [PDF]
Vortex shedding around circular cylinders is a well known and studied phenomenon that appears in many engineering fields. A Reduced Order Model (ROM) of the incompressible ow around a circular cylinder is presented in this work.

Spherical Grid Creation and Modeling Using the Galerkin Compiler GC_Sphere
The construction of spherical grids is, to a large extent, a question of organized programming. Such grids come in the form of rhomboidal/triangular grids and hexagonal grids.

Discontinuous Galerkin Approximation of Flows in Fractured Porous Media on Polytopic Grids
We present a numerical approximation of Darcy's flow through a fractured porous medium which employs discontinuous Galerkin methods on polytopic grids.

Space-time least-squares Petrov-Galerkin projection for nonlinear model reduction [PDF]
This work proposes a space--time least-squares Petrov--Galerkin (ST-LSPG) projection method for model reduction of nonlinear dynamical systems.

Interval element-free Galerkin method for uncertain mechanical problems
An interval element-free Galerkin method was proposed to solve some issues in structural design and analysis of structural parameters that have errors or uncertainties caused by manufacture, installation, measurement, or computation.

Rib‐Reinforced Ultralight and Ultra‐Strong Shell Lattices
This study thoroughly reveals the relation between the curvature and stress direction of triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) thin shell lattices and proposes a novel rib reinforcement design strategy to incorporate ribs along the line of asymptotes (LOA) and the line of principal curvatures (LOC) to enhance the strength of ultralight TPMS shell ...
