2017Building on the notions of primary and secondary orality, language economics, and the study of intonation as one of the first oral inputs learned by human beings, this essay shares results of a study of intonation patterns used on TV newscasts broadcasted in Galician, Spanish, and Portuguese in the Iberian Peninsula.
