Ecological Entomology, EarlyView.We used iNaturalist records, a longitudinal field survey, and a simulated herbivory experiment to explore how insect herbivory factors are associated with Cornus canadensis fruit production. Naturally observed internal and external insect herbivory was mostly low intensity and did not have a strong relationship with fruit production.
