A trace–path integral formula over function fields
Abstract We show that an arithmetic path integral over the ℓ$\ell$‐torsion of a Jacobian J[ℓ]$J[\ell]$ is equal to the trace of the Frobenius action on a representation of the Heisenberg group H(J[ℓ])$H(J[\ell])$, up to an explicitly determined sign.

The asymptotic Mahler measure of Gaussian periods
Abstract We construct a sequence of cyclotomic integers (Gaussian periods) of particularly small Mahler measure/height. We study the asymptotics of their Mahler measure as a function of their conductor, to find that the growth rate is the (multivariate) Mahler measure of a family of log Calabi–Yau varieties of increasing dimension.

Cpn$C_{p^n}$‐equivariant Mahowald invariants
Abstract The classical Mahowald invariant is an operation that systematically produces new elements in the stable homotopy groups of spheres from known ones. We introduce the Cpn$C_{p^n}$‐Mahowald invariant: a relation π★SCpn−1⇀π*S$\pi _\star S_{\mathchoice{{ C_{p^{n-1}}}}{{\textstyle C_{p^{n-1}}}}{{\scriptstyle C_{p^{n-1}}}}{{\scriptscriptstyle C_{p ...

Manin's conjecture for integral points on toric varieties
Abstract We formulate a conjecture on the number of integral points of bounded height on log Fano varieties in analogy with Manin's conjecture on the number of rational points of bounded height on Fano varieties. We also give a prediction for the leading constant that is similar to Peyre's interpretation of the leading constant in Manin's conjecture ...

Galois Extensions of Commutative Rings and Hopf Galois Extensions [PDF]
In this thesis we define the notion of a Galois extension of commutative rings, and present the analogue of the fundamental theorem of Galois theory in this setting.

Fourier Expansion‐Based Approach to the Parameter Space of Classical Systems
ABSTRACT We propose a new approach to compute the classical metric tensor (CMT) and the Hannay curvature using Fourier series expansions in action‐angle variables. This approach circumvents the need for complex time‐domain integrals or the construction of generating functions, replacing them with algebraic combinations of Fourier coefficients. We prove

Abelian threefolds with imaginary multiplication
Abstract Let A$A$ be an abelian threefold defined over a number field K$K$ with potential multiplication by an imaginary quadratic field M$M$. Under mild assumptions on K$K$, if A$A$ has signature (2,1) and the multiplication by M$M$ is defined over KM$KM$, we attach to A$A$ an elliptic curve defined over K$K$ with potential complex multiplication by M$

Arithmetic of number bodies. Commutative algebra and Galois theory [PDF]
Los cuerpos de números son los objetos centrales de la teoría de números. Los posibles análogos del teorema fundamental de la aritmética en los anillos de enteros de estos cuerpos nos trasladan a pensar, ¿cómo y bajo que condiciones se tiene ...

Images of Galois representations in mod p Hecke algebras
Let (f, f) denote the mod p local Hecke algebra attached to a normalized Hecke eigenform f, which is a commutative algebra over some finite field q of characteristic p and with residue field q.
