ABSTRACT This review paper examines the state of IR research in SSA and establishes a future research agenda—a context that has had limited coverage in global IR literature. Following the Preferred Reporting Items method for conducting Systematic reviews and Meta‐Analyses, we reviewed 52 IR studies published in 43 journals between 2013 and 2023 that ...

A lattice and surface engineering strategy was employed to synthesize a novel core‐shell nanomaterial for superior reductive dechlorination of trichloroethene. In this design, FeNi serves as the core and FeS as the shell. Core composition and shell properties interactively determine materials’ performance, and the optimal material exhibited 242.7‐fold ...

In this study, silazanes are used as matrix material for the fabrication of lamellar corrosion protection base coats. The silazane matrix leads to a temperature stability up to 400°C of the zinc, magnesium, and aluminum‐filled coatings. At higher temperatures the coatings suffer from oxidation of the fillers resulting in reduced corrosion protection ...

Performance of PTFE-lined composite journal bearings [PDF]
Plain cylindrical journal bearings consisting of aramid fiber reinforced epoxy outer shells and glass fiber reinforced PTFE lubricating liners were evaluated. All materials in these bearings are electrically nonconductive; thus eliminating the problem of

Seasonal Host Shifts for Legionella Within an Industrial Water‐Cooling System
Taxonomic profiling for Legionella (the causative agent of Legionnaires' disease) and protist hosts within a water cooling tower showed seasonal peaks for Legionella that were associated with taxonomic shifts in the protist community. Legionella frequency was tracked using amplicon sequencing (blue line) and serogroup profiling (red line).
