Bridging Performance and Fate: A Framework for Sustainable, Composite‐Based Flexible Electronic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Composite‐based flexible electronics integrate biodegradable polymers, conductive networks, and multilayer device architectures to balance electrical performance, mechanical durability, and controlled degradation. Interfacial engineering and encapsulation regulate transport stability and operational lifetime, while programmed disassembly enables ...

Stretchable Energy Storage with Eutectic Gallium Indium Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
A highly stretchable liquid metal‐based electrode is developed via a one‐step process, retaining conductivity and capacitance after mechanical deformation up to 900% strain. The stretchable all‐solid‐state device provides a areal energy density of 43 µWh cm⁻2 after 150% strain.

TWO COMPONENTS INVOLVED IN GALVANIC SKIN RESPONSE

open access: yesThe Japanese Journal of Physiology, 1958
1. The potential changes of galvanic skin reflex usually consist of negative (hand becomes more negative) and positive deflections.2. With intense or successive stimulation, the amplitude of negative deflection increased at first and then positive deflection grew step by step in size. Finally the negative deflection was invisible.3.

Safety of Sodium‐Ion Batteries: Evaluation and Perspective from Component Materials to Cells, Modules, and Packs

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This review provides a bottom‐up evaluation of sodium‐ion battery safety, linking material degradation mechanisms, cell engineering parameters, and module/pack assembly. It emphasizes that understanding intrinsic material stability and establishing coordinated engineering control across hierarchical levels are vital for preventing degradation coupling ...

Cognitive Performance in Young Adults During Three Consecutive Days of Simulated Occupational Heat Stress: An Exploratory Study

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Industrial Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Global increases in occupational heat exposure are raising concerns about worker safety and cognitive performance during prolonged and repeated shifts. At present, the cumulative effects of repeated heat exposure on cognitive performance remain unclear.

Comparison of Sympathetic Skin Response (SSR) between Electrical and Acoustic Stimuli in a Healthy Pediatric Population

open access: yesPediatric Reports, 2021
Data in the literature report that latency and morphology in the cutaneous sympathetic skin response (SSR) do not change according to the type of stimulus delivered, unlike the amplitude which shows greater values in relation to the intensity of the ...

“Dead Lithium” Formation and Mitigation Strategies in Anode‐Free Li‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2025.
Anode‐free lithium metal batteries, though promising due to their high energy density, face challenges from dead lithium formation. “Dead lithium”, disconnected from the anode, causes capacity loss, increased resistance, and safety risks. This review explores the origins of dead lithium, its impact on battery performance, and potential strategies for ...
