Galvanostatic Electrophoretic Deposition of Yttriumsilicate on C/C-Si-SiC Composites
Key Engineering Materials, 2009The use of carbon fibre reinforced carbon composites in oxidizing atmospheres is limited to temperatures below 400 °C. To benefit from their excellent mechanical strength that is still preserved at high temperatures, suitable oxidation protection coating systems have to be developed.

Nanostructured nickel oxide (NiO) electrode has been prepared using electrochemical work station operated on galvanostatic mode in supercapacitor application. Crystalline cubic structure and nanoplate-type of morphology of synthesized NiO electrode was confirmed from X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy analysis respectively.

Galvanostatic deposition of Cu2O layers through the electrogeneration of base route
Journal of Materials Science Letters, 1998The dependence of the cell voltage on deposition time for current densities of 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2 and 1.5 mA cm ˇ2 is shown in Fig. 1. The voltage is seen to increase with current density for a constant deposition time. At higher current densities greater than 0.9 mA cm ˇ2 , the voltage stabilizes at shorter duration.

Hydrogen renders high energy density without any direct carbon emissions, which makes it an ideal energy carrier [1]. PtNi nanomaterials exhibit high catalytic activity for hydrogen production through the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), in some cases superior to bare Pt [2] and with lower cost due to the replacement with Ni.

Simulation of galvanostatic growth of polycrystalline Li deposits in rechargeable Li batteries
Electrochimica Acta, 2001This brief communication is a preliminary attempt to apply models developed for electrochemical deposition of metals from aqueous solutions or molten salts (passivation-free condition), to the more complicated case of Li deposition from nonaqueous solutions. The model systems chosen were lithium electrodes in rechargeable, commercial Li (metal)–LixMnO2

Deposition of thin cobalt films onto silicon by galvanostatic and potentiostatic techniques
Journal of Materials Science, 2009In this study, thin cobalt films were electrodeposited directly onto n-Si (100) using two different electrodeposition techniques: galvanostatic and potentiostatic. The morphological difference between galvanostatic and potentiostatic deposits was observed by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).

Working electrode polarization in galvanostatic deposition of amorphous Co-P ferromagnetic alloys
Solid State Ionics, 1993Abstract Studies of the evolution of cathode potential with increasing current densities have been performed in electrodeposition processes under different bath conditions. The role of the constituents of the deposition bath in the final result is discussed as well as the possibility of exerting a potentiostatic control of the composition of the ...

Re-Crystallization of CZTS Solar Cell Materials Prepared by Galvanostat Electro-Deposition
ECS Transactions, 2013Quaternary Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) films were successfully obtained on Mo/(soda lime glass) substrates by one-step electro-deposition. The process was more efficient than other electro-deposit processes. Electrolytic aqueous was prepared using CuSO4, ZnSO4, SnSO4 and Na2S2O3 mixing solution.

In this study, we demonstrate the ZnO nanorods (NRs) and nanocombs (NCs) by simple galvanostatic electrochemical deposition process. The ZnO nanostructures act as high ultra-violet (UV) sensing material due to high aspect ratio. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra and time-dependent photo response of the ZnO nanostructures grown on Au/Si has exhibited ...
