Factors associated with diversity, quantity and zoonotic potential of ectoparasites on urban mice and voles. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS One, 2018
Wild rodents are important hosts for tick larvae but co-infestations with other mites and insects are largely neglected. Small rodents were trapped at four study sites in Berlin, Germany, to quantify their ectoparasite diversity.

NEW DATA ON TWO GAMASID MITES (ACARI: MESOSTIGMATA) FROM RUSSIA [PDF]

open access: yesAcarina, 2021
We present the first record of Longoseius (Longoseius) longus (Mesostigmata: Digamasellidae) from Russia. It was collected on a longhorn beetle Stictoleptura variicornis (Dalman) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae). In addition, a detailed redescription of the female Leioseius mirabilis Nikolsky, 1981 (Mesostigmata: Ascidae) is provided.
