We propose a discrete form for an equation due to Gambier and which belongs to the class of the fifty second order equations that possess the Painleve property. In the continuous case, the solutions of the Gambier equation is obtained through a system of Riccati equations. The same holds true in the discrete case also.

Comparative effects of Gamal (Gliricidia sepium)-based diets supplemented with Gambier (Uncaria gambir) or direct-fed microbials on rumen fermentation, nutrient digestibility, microbial protein synthesis, and methane mitigation in beef cattle: An in vitro evaluation [PDF]
Background and Aim: Enteric methane (CH₄) emissions from ruminants reduce dietary energy efficiency and contribute to global greenhouse gas accumulation.

Efektivitas penggunaan gambir sebagai bahan penyamak nabati sistem C-RFP untuk pembuatan kulit jaket dari kulit domba [PDF]
Gambier is obtained from the extraction of leaves and young twigs of Uncaria gambir, a shrub that grows in Indonesia. Gambier contains tannin by 20% to 55% so that can be used as a vegetable tanning material using the C-RFP system (C=Conditioning, R ...

Dynamical Studies of Equations from the Gambier Family [PDF]
We consider the hierarchy of higher-order Riccati equations and establish their connection with the Gambier equation. Moreover we investigate the relation of equations of the Gambier family to other nonlinear differential systems.

Physiological and Putative Organic Cation Transporter Expression Response to Alizarin Dye Exposure in Aedes aegypti Mosquitoes [PDF]
There remains an urgent need for knowledge regarding the molecular and genetic mechanisms in Aedes aegypti to support the fight against mosquito-borne illness, one of these areas being xenobiotic transport.
