Continuous-Time Stochastic Games of Fixed Duration [PDF]
The article considers \(n\)-player noncooperative non-zero-sum stochastic games on a finite time horizon. An example with non-existing of Markov equilibrium is given and it is shown that approximate Markov equilibria and equilibria correlated via a public signal always exist.

Gaming's resilience in times of crisis
2023The article presents arguments about how the gaming industry is resistant to crises. Based on the data collected from 1998 to 2022, when the world was engulfed by several crises, we analyzed the global gambling revenues in the global GDP. From this, we derived the main research question: Do crises affect gambling revenues and what share of global GDP ...

Approximation of differential games of pursuit-evasion by discrete-time games
2006In this paper we consider the classical problem of pursuit and evasion for continuous-time and discrete-time systems. We prove the convergence, as the time step goes to 0, of the upper and lower value functions of the discrete-time game to the upper and lower values of the differential game. This is done assuming a capturability condition either on the

Timing Game: Development of a Game for Temporal Perception Research
Anais Estendidos do XXIV Simpósio Brasileiro de Jogos e Entretenimento Digital (SBGames 2025)Introduction: Temporal perception tasks are traditionally repetitive and time-consuming, often reducing participant engagement and affecting data quality in cognitive research. Serious Games offer a promising alternative to increase engagement while preserving scientific rigor.

MULTISTAGE COOPERATIVE GAMES AND PROBLEM OF TIME CONSISTENCY
International Game Theory Review, 2004In this paper we consider the problem of time-consistency of the subcore in a multistage TU-cooperative game. We propose necessary and sufficient conditions for the time-consistency of an imputation from the subcore. Based on these conditions, we suggest an algorithm providing time-consistency of a selector of the subcore.

DISCRETE TIME DYNAMIC GAMES WITH CONTINUUM OF PLAYERS II: SEMI-DECOMPOSABLE GAMES
International Game Theory Review, 2003In this paper we consider dynamic games with continuum of players which can constitute a framework to model large financial markets. They are called semi-decomposable games. In semi-decomposable games the system changes in response to a (possibly distorted) aggregate of players' decisions and the payoff is a sum of discounted semi-instantaneous ...

DISCRETE TIME DYNAMIC GAMES WITH A CONTINUUM OF PLAYERS I: DECOMPOSABLE GAMES
International Game Theory Review, 2002The purpose of this paper is to present some simple properties and applications of dynamic games with discrete time and a continuum of players. For such games relations between dynamic equilibria and families of static equilibria in the corresponding static games, as well as between dynamic and static best response sets are examined and an equivalence
