Fast Neutron Detector Based on Hybrid 2D Perovskite Thin Films
This work presents the direct detection of fast neutrons using flexible hybrid 2D perovskite (PEA2PbBr4) thin‐film detectors. Thanks to their high low‐Z elements content and good charge transport, these materials enable efficient neutron detection. The thin film configuration allowed the operation at low voltage, and offer scalability, flexibility, and

This work demonstrates an interphase strain engineering strategy to regulate capacitive energy storage performance in high‐entropy oxide thin films. Through introducing pyrochlore nanocolumns, the polarization response of perovskite unit cells is strengthened, yielding recoverable energy densities up to 93 J cm−3 with an efficiency of 83% under ...

Abstract The energy domain between 10 MeV and hundreds of GeV is an essential one for the multifrequency study of extreme astrophysical sources. The understanding of spectra of detected gamma rays is necessary for developing models for acceleration, emission, absorption and propagation of very high-energy particles at their sources and in space.

This work addresses the challenge of current–voltage asymmetry in scalable laminated semitransparent organic photovoltaics (OPVs) for indoor applications. Vertical stratification of materials is shown to create an energy barrier, leading to performance differences under different illumination directions.
