Integrating aperture shape controller and machine learning prediction to improve gamma passing rates in lattice radiotherapy

Physics in Medicine & Biology
Abstract Objective. This study proposes a workflow integrating the aperture shape controller (ASC) in the Varian Eclipse system with a machine learning–based verification prediction model to improve gamma passing rates (GPRs) of LATTICE Radiotherapy (LRT) plans and reduce repeated verifications.

High count rate first-pass radionuclide angiography using a digital gamma camera.

Journal of nuclear medicine : official publication, Society of Nuclear Medicine, 1986
In this study, first-pass radionuclide angiography (FPRNA) was performed using a digital single-crystal gamma camera. Twenty-nine men and six women (ages 43-80, mean 61 yr) underwent FPRNA in the supine position immediately prior to cardiac catheterization.

Unifying gamma passing rates in patient-specific QA for VMAT lung cancer treatment based on data assimilation

Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine
This study aimed to identify systematic errors in measurement-, calculation-, and prediction-based patient-specific quality assurance (PSQA) methods for volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) on lung cancer and to standardize the gamma passing rate (GPR) by considering systematic errors during data assimilation.

AOUC experience on patient-based dose verification: from gamma passing-rate to DVH.

2013
The aim of this work is to evaluate the performances of a commercial software, which “perturbs” the calculated dose distribution according to the dose discrepancies detected with planar or volumetric measurements in order to predict the actually delivered 3D dose distribution in the patient.
