ABSTRACT It has been proposed that the world's languages fall into three rhythmic classes according to the units that determine their rhythmic structure: stress‐based (e.g., English), syllable‐based (e.g., French), and mora‐based (e.g., Japanese). These rhythmic differences modulate language‐specific processing in adults and young infants.

Precisely Printing Perovskite Nanocrystals in Glass via Thermoelectric Synergistic Effect
Based on the direct migration and enrichment of Cs ions in glass driven by thermoelectric fields, a novel method has been developed to achieve controllable crystallization and patterned distribution of CsPbBr3 PNCs in stable glass. The distribution scale of PNCs strongly depends on the thermoelectric processing conditions (temperature, electric field ...

Adaptive Display White Point Under Various Ambient Conditions. Part 2: Dual Illumination
This study was designed to investigate how an adaptive display white point should be adjusted under different foreground‐background illumination conditions. It was found that the background illumination had a more significant effect. ABSTRACT Adaptive displays are designed to enhance the user viewing experience by dynamically responding to ambient ...

This collection of original essays in honor of American drama critic Ruby Cohn captures the rich mixture of discourses on the act of theater. The variety of approaches- from formalist to feminist- pays tribute to the centrality of Beckett in any evaluation of just what constitutes the "modern" in modern, contemporary, postmodern, and experimental drama.

A thixotropic perovskite quantum dot color‐converting resin (thixo‐PQD resin) is developed by rheological control and robust matrix encapsulation, enabling uniform micro‐dispensing of microlens (ML) thixo‐PQD array. The resulting ML thixo‐PQD array shows improved color‐conversion relative to flat PQD films and achieves long‐term environmental stability.

Kinetically Controlled Direct In Situ Photolithography of Perovskite Color‐Conversion Layers
Kinetically controlled direct in situ photolithography (KC‐ISP) enables high‐resolution patterning of micrometer‐thick perovskite color‐conversion layers. By regulating thiol–ene reaction kinetics and redistributing precursors within the polymer matrix, lateral curing is suppressed and spatially selective crystallization is achieved.

Epigenetic clocks accurately measure biological age, but how reliable are they in practice? This study reveals a critical divergence: while clocks are highly consistent across laboratory replicates (technical reliability), their estimates fluctuate significantly in response to everyday events like meals, stress, and pollution (biological reliability ...
