Gamut Extension for Cinema [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2017
Emerging display technologies are able to produce images with a much wider color gamut than those of conventional distribution gamuts for cinema and TV, creating an opportunity for the development of gamut extension algorithms (GEAs) that exploit the full color potential of these new systems.

The gamut of paracoccidioidomycosis

The American Journal of Medicine, 1976
Paracoccidioidomycosis is a systemic mycosis of importance in Latin America. Because of its polymorphic manifestations, it is not always suspected and patients are sometimes misdiagnosed. Case histories of patients with paracoccidioidomycosis are presented in order to illustrate its various manifestations, with emphasis on the primary pulmonary ...

The gamut of histoplasmosis

The American Journal of Medicine, 1971

The infection is, statistically, benign and self-limited, but fatal infections are not unknown. Hematogenous dissemination occurs in at least 70 per cent of asymptomatic cases.

Spectral gamuts and spectral gamut mapping

SPIE Proceedings, 2006
All imaging devices have two gamuts: the stimulus gamut and the response gamut. The response gamut of a print engine is typically described in CIE colorimetry units, a system derived to quantify human color response. More fundamental than colorimetric gamuts are spectral gamuts, based on radiance, reflectance or transmittance units.
