Effects of Lactobacillus‐Mediated Functionalization of Dendrobium officinale Polysaccharides: A Study From Physicochemical Properties and Structural Changes to Anti‐Inflammatory Activity

open access: yeseFood, Volume 7, Issue 4, August 2026.
Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) fermentation cleaves specific glycosidic bonds in Dendrobium officinale polysaccharides (DOPs), reducing molecular weight and enhancing anti‐inflammatory activity through regulation of inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress, and intestinal barrier function.

Metabolic Mechanisms of Modified Lingguizhugan Decoction in Obesity and Lipid Metabolism Disorders: A Multi‐Omics Approach

open access: yesObesity Science &Practice, Volume 12, Issue 4, August 2026.
In this study, we explore the effects of Modified Lingguizhugan Decoction (MLGZGD) on obesity and lipid metabolism in mice, using a multi‐omics approach. Our results show that MLGZGD modulates gut microbiota composition, including beneficial genera like Akkermansia, and improves lipid metabolism by regulating triglyceride and phosphatidylcholine levels.

Study on Anti-Allergic Effecst of Ganoderma lucidum Herbal Acupuncture and Ganoderma lucidum Extract

open access: yesJournal of Korean Institute of Herbal Acupuncture, 2007
Objectives : We studied on anti-allergic effects of Ganoderma lucidum herbal acupuncture(GHA) and Ganoderma lucidum extract(GE). Methods : in vivo, Animals were herbal-acupunctured GHA at both B13s three times for 5 days. Then, we investigated compound 48/80-induced active systemic anaphylatic shock using ICR mice and anti-DNP IgE-induced passive ...

Staging concept for aging management: Definition, mechanism, and coping strategies

open access: yesVIEW, Volume 7, Issue 4, August 2026.
We divided the overall aging stage into “pre‐aging”, “aging compensation”, and “aging disability”. For each stage, we delineate the clinical presentations, biological phenomena, theoretical underpinnings, and key management priorities. Abstract Aging, as a gradual and largely irreversible biological process, characterized by declining organismal ...

Synthetic Ligands of Myeloid C‐Type Lectin Receptors

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 13, 14 July 2026.
Binding of ligands to C‐type lectin receptors (CLRs) on myeloid cells can lead to an array of cellular responses. Exploitation of these receptors for therapeutic purposes requires high‐affinity ligands. This review surveys the diversity of synthetic ligands of myeloid CLRs in the context of binding, signaling, and downstream effects, as well as ...

Electroencephalogram‐Driven Recognition of Parkinson's Disease Through a Mycelium‐Inspired Memristive Reservoir Computing Circuit

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 8, Issue 7, July 2026.
This work presents a bio‐inspired computing framework for Parkinson's disease analog recognition using electroencephalogram signals. Temporally encoded EEG features stimulate a mycelium‐inspired memristive reservoir, where disease‐related patterns emerge through physical spatiotemporal dynamics.
