When a solid cylinder is rotating inside a hollow cylinder, a characteristic fluid flow occurs inside the gap between the two cylinders, caused by the adhesion of the fluid at the walls. This flow problem is widely known as the Couette-flow.

Flow in a narrow gap along an enclosed rotating disk with superimposed through-flow is studied theoretically and experimentally. When the axial gap is narrow, or when a large radial outflow is superimposed, the boundary layers on the rotating and stationary walls interfere with each other.

ABSTRACT Juvenile xanthogranuloma (JXG) of the central nervous system (CNS) is a rare non‐Langerhans cell histiocytosis. CSF1R mutations have been reported for peripheral JXG, but not in CNS JXG. A 3‐month‐old male presented with fever, lymphadenopathy, and macrocephaly with bulging fontanelles.
