This review systematically examines how different transition metal compounds—such as binary and multinary metal oxides, halides, sulfides, and salts—exhibit thermochromism based on the d‐electron configurations of their transition metal cations. It focuses on three main mechanisms of thermochromism: phase transition, charge transfer, and bandgap change.

Lithium Metal Anode Fabrication: Methods, Challenges, and Strategies
Schematic illustration of four representative fabrication techniques for thin lithium metal anodes: extrusion, molten lithium infusion, electroplating, and physical vapor deposition (PVD). ABSTRACT The pursuit of ultra‐high energy‐dense lithium‐metal batteries (LMBs) has reignited the drive to fabricate ultrathin high‐quality lithium metal anodes. This

Final report of the GARNet Advisory Committee on Arabidopsis Systems Biology in the UK, June 2006.
Biological research using Arabidopsis thaliana is adopting systems approaches in some areas. Arabidopsis researchers must build the capacity for systems analysis, if the UK’s strength in Arabidopsis biology is to be reflected in sub-systems models that ...

Gibbs Free Energy‐Driven Li–MgF2 Composite Anodes for Stable Solid‐State Lithium Batteries
A Li–MgF2 composite anode has been engineered through a Gibbs free energy‐driven reaction of molten Li with MgF2. Benefiting from the synergistic effect of the LiF and LixMg segregated structure, the Li–MgF2|garnet interface achieves a low interfacial resistance of 8.2 Ω cm2, and the Li–MgF2|garnet|Li–MgF2 symmetric cells accomplish ultrastable cycling
