An extension of the Garrett-Stanojevic class
Approximation Theory and its Applications, 2000Let \(1< p\leq 2\) and \(r\in \{0,1,2,\dots\}\). A null sequence \(\{a_k\}\) is said to belong to the class \(S_{pr}\) if there exists a decreasing sequence \(\{A_k\}\) such that \[ \sum^\infty_{k=1} A_k< \infty\quad \text{and} \quad n^{pr- 1} \sum^n_{k=1} {|\Delta a_k|^p\over A^p_k}= O(1), \] where \(\Delta a_k:= a_k- a_{k+ 1}\). Furthermore, \(\{a_k\}
