Visualization of Atomization Gas Flow and Melt Break-up Effects in Response to Nozzle Design [PDF]
Both powder particle size control and efficient use of gas flow energy are highly prized goals for gas atomization of metal and alloy powder to minimize off-size powder inventory (or 'reverb') and excessive gas consumption.

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Interactions of rare gas cations with lighter rare gas atoms
High-level ab initio calculations are employed to generate potential energy curves for rare gas cations, RG+, interacting with neutral atoms of other rare gases, RG', that are lighter (RG+/RG' = Ne-Rn). The calculations employ the RCCSD(T) method, with doubly-augmented basis sets of quintuple-zeta quality.

Simulation of powder metal fabrication with high pressure gas atomization [PDF]
A computational/analytical technique has been developed which models the physics of high pressure gas atomization. The technique uses an uncoupled approach, such that the gas flowfield is initially calculated with a commercially-available Navier-Stokes ...

ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...
