The paper contains the results of experimental studies on water atomization process in effervescent nozzle in one-phase and two-phase systems. The gas phase flow rate causes the changes in characteristic parameters of atomization.

An effective strategy is developed to overcome the medium temperatures wear resistance degradation in refractory multi‐principal element alloys. By utilizing chemical short‐range ordering to trigger oxygen‐induced amorphization, a composite oxide structure is formed, which combines high hardness with robust stiffness.

Unraveling MXene Oxidation Mechanisms Under Realistic Gas Environments by In Situ Gas‐Cell TEM
Real‐time visualization of MXene degradation reveals a fundamental oxidation mechanism under oxygen and moisture environments. Using in situ gas‐cell electron microscopy, this study demonstrates that oxygen degradation drives a thermodynamically controlled high‐temperature transformation into mixed rutile/anatase phases.
