Hot-wire detector for chemically active materials used in gas chromatography [PDF]
Hot-filament detector analyzes chemically active materials used in gas chromatography. The detector reacts chemically with the effluent vapors in the gas chromatographic apparatus to change the electrical resistance of the filament as a function of the ...

ASSESSMENT OF LINDANE (GAMMA HCH) RESIDUES IN WATER AND MILK SAMPLES IN PALAKKAD DISTRICT [PDF]
Organochlorine pesticides are ubiquitous and persistent organic pollutants used widely throughout the world. The organochlorines are more potent due to their prolonged persistence, lipophilic nature and tendency to accumulate in anima! and plant tissues.

Copper sulfide based electrocatalysts for CO2 conversion are selective for production of formate as major product. Transformations under electrochemical conditions result in significant sulfur loss, and this study examines the nature of how persistent, residual sulfur (observed as surface SO42– species and S dissolved in the electrolyte) can sustain ...

Titan organic aerosols: molecular composition and structure of laboratory analogues inferred from systematic pyrolysis gas chromatography mass spectrometry analysis [PDF]
Numerous studies have been carried out to characterize the chemical composition of laboratory analogues of Titan aerosols (tholins), but their molecular composition as well as their structure are still poorly known. If pyrolysis gas chromatography mass spectrometry (pyr-GCMS) has been used for years to give clues about this composition, the highly ...

The ultraselective H2S detection of the ZIF‐L/SnS2 heterostructure is demonstrated. The introduction of 2‐dimensional (2D) breathable ZIF‐L results in a substantial increase in H2S selectivity attributable to the molecular sieving effect, which impedes the permeation of gases with large kinetic diameters and high polarity.
