In Situ Micromechanical Study of Bimodal γ′–γ″ Precipitate Assemblies in Ni–Cr–Al–Nb Superalloy
A Ni–Cr–Al–Nb superalloy with a bimodal γ′–γ″ precipitate distribution is developed. Composite precipitate assemblies form through heterogeneous nucleation, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Micropillar compression reveals high strength at room and elevated temperatures, governed by precipitate shearing, with coupled faulting mechanisms ...

Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

A surface diffusion block coefficient and model about coal-adsorbed gas
80%−90% of coalbed methane(CBM)/coal mine gas is stored in adsorbed state, and the diffusion of adsorbed gas is dominated by surface diffusion, which plays a decisive role in the transportation of CBM.

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

Shale Gas Pseudo Two-Dimensional Unsteady Seepage Pressure Simulation Analysis in Capillary Model
Shale gas is rapidly growing as a source of natural gas in China. Compared with the conventional gas reservoir, the shale gas reservoir is characterized by low porosity, low permeability, and adsorbed gas, making the flow mechanism of shale gas reservoir

Development of Methods of Gas Flow Computation in Short Diffusers
AbstractThe paper suggests numerical and experimental computation methods of gas flow in short diffusers. The results of numerical investigations, carried out in ANSYS CFX for thirteen variants of turbulence, as well as experimental results are presented. For turbulence model k-ω, good repeatability of experimental data is obtained.

Precipitation Simulations of the O‐Phase in Ti2AlNb Alloys Processed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion
Simulated and experimental evolution of the O‐phase volume fraction during postprocessing of a Ti‐21Al‐25Nb (at.%) alloy processed by laser powder bed fusion. With results of sensitivity to input parameters from a thorough and quantified analysis, the interfacial energy matrix/precipitate is the most relevant input parameter for the simulation of the O‐
