Expansion co-planning for shale gas integration in a combined energy market [PDF]
Shale gas resources have the potential to significantly contribute to worldwide energy portfolio. A great number shale gas reserves have been identified in many countries. Connections of newly found gas reserves to the existing energy infrastructures are

Energy spectrum of interacting gas: Cluster expansion method
In this paper, we calculate the energy spectrum of interacting gases by converting the cluster expansion method in statistical mechanics into a method of solving energy eigenvalues. We obtain an explicit expression of the energy eigenvalue, by which we can calculate the eigenvalue of an interacting gas from the interparticle potential directly.

Energy Conversion During Expansion of a Solid-Particle-Entrained Gas [PDF]
Pneumatic energy is converted into solid particle kinetic energy as a solid-particle-entrained gas flows downward through a vertical nozzle. For the conditions studied, the solid particles serve as a heat exchange medium to enable a gas expansion that is nearly isothermal.

Liquefied natural gas expansion plans in Germany: The risk of gas lock-in under energy transitions
Abstract The German energy transition has been hailed as a role model for climate action. However, plans for the construction of three large-scale Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) import terminals are receiving strong state support. This is inconsistent with Germany’s climate targets, which require a reduction rather than expansion of natural gas ...

Evolution of pore structure and its influence on gas expansion energy for pulverized coal
The primary factor that determines the outburst hazard is the energy released by gas desorption. Previous studies have rarely quantified the initial gas expansion energy and have not adequately characterized the nonlinear adsorption process.

Experimental Study on Work of Adsorption Gas Expansion After Coal and Gas Outburst Excitation
Coal and gas outburst is an extremely complex dynamic phenomenon of mine gas, which is mainly manifested in a very short time. A large amount of coal and rock are thrown out from the coal body to the mining space and accompanied by a large volume of high-

Gas Expansion Energy Model and Numerical Simulation of Outburst Coal Seam under Multifield Coupling
Due to the insufficient understanding of the outburst mechanism, the coal and gas outburst disasters in China are more serious. Gas expansion energy is the main source of energy that causes outburst.

Energy principle of simulation experiments on coal and gas outburst
Coal and gas outburst is an extremely destructive gas dynamic disaster in mines. Since such dynamic disasters are usually difficult to observe directly, physical similarity simulation of coal and gas outburst has become an important method for collecting
