Corrosion Control in Gas-Lift Wells
Corrosion, 1952Severe corrosion was found to be taking place in the South Texas oil wells where producing pressures were not abnormally high. Most of these wells were produced by gas lift. An investigation was instigated to study the causes of the corrosion and find some means of bringing it under control.

CO2 Gas Lift – Is It Right For You?
SPE Mid-Continent Operations Symposium, 1999Abstract Gas lift can be installed in producing wells within a CO2 flood utilizing the nearly pure injection CO2 or the mixed hydrocarbon/CO2 gas returning to the production station. Lift gas injection rates can be varied to correspond to the water content resulting from the water-alternating-gas (WAG) results.
