All‐Atomic Computational Perspectives for Understanding Morphable Electric Double Layers: A Review

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Recent studies on morphable electric double layer (EDL) highlights mechanically tunable systems where deformation alters ion distribution, interfacial area, or capacitance. Materials include polymers, carbon nanotubes, and metal interfaces, each demonstrating energy harvesting or actuation through structural modulation of the EDL under mechanical ...

Manipulation of Wnt/β‐Catenin Signaling by Synthetic Frizzled Agonist and LRP Antagonist in Organoid Cultures and In Vivo

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
Harnessing synthetic key receptor modulators, this study presents a breakthrough in Wnt/β‐catenin regulation. The FZD agonist RRP‐pbFn bypasses LRP5/6 to drive organoid expansion and tissue regeneration, while the LRP antagonist RRP‐Dkk1c eradicates tumors. These tools enable precise pathway control, advancing regenerative and cancer therapies.

Attention‐Guided Food Bolus Segmentation in Ultrasound Imaging for Dysphagia Rehabilitation

open access: yesIEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract Dysphagia impairs the ability to eat and increases the risk of aspiration pneumonia and choking. Dysphagia rehabilitation often requires strengthening the muscles that transport residual food boluses from the pharynx to the stomach. Detecting food boluses in the pharynx is a crucial early indicator of aspiration risk during rehabilitation and ...
