Lipid Islands in Gastric Mucosa
Beiträge zur Pathologie, 1973Summary Gastric biopsies in two patients showed similar deposition of lipid material in the mucosa as described in the lipid islands by Lubarsch and Borchardt (1929). Their etiology and importance in the differential diagnosis of superficial carcinoma is discussed.
