Helicobacter pylori and atrophic gastritis
Infection with Helicobacter pylori plays a crucial role in the etiology of atrophic gastritis and gastric cancer. Studies suggest a nine-fold increased risk for both conditions in the presence of infection. The risk of atrophic gastritis in the presence of infection is dependent upon the severity of the gastritis.

A network-based biomarkers discovery of Cold/Hot ZHENG chronic gastritis and Cold/Hot herbs of formulae [PDF]
Objective: To discover biomarkers and uncover the mechanism of Cold/Hot ZHENG (syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine) chronic gastritis (CG) and Cold/Hot herbs in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulae on systematic biology. Background: CG is a common inflammatory disease and the diagnosis of CG in TCM can be classified into Cold ZHENG ...

A deep learning model for gastric diffuse-type adenocarcinoma classification in whole slide images [PDF]
Gastric diffuse-type adenocarcinoma represents a disproportionately high percentage of cases of gastric cancers occurring in the young, and its relative incidence seems to be on the rise. Usually it affects the body of the stomach, and presents shorter duration and worse prognosis compared with the differentiated (intestinal) type adenocarcinoma.

Dynamic Structural Brain Network Construction by Hierarchical Prototype Embedding GCN using T1-MRI [PDF]
Constructing structural brain networks using T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (T1-MRI) presents a significant challenge due to the lack of direct regional connectivity information. Current methods with T1-MRI rely on predefined regions or isolated pretrained location modules to obtain atrophic regions, which neglects individual specificity ...

INDICATORS OF CELLULAR IMMUNITY IN THE BLOOD OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC AND CHRONIC ATROPHIC GASTRITIS
Helicobacter pylori is one of the common causes of chronic gastritis. In our study, we studied the indicators of cellular immunity in patients with chronic gastritis and chronic atrophic gastritis in the background of Helicobacter pylori infection ...
