Analysis of the Genetic Diversity of Houttuynia cordata Thunb Germplasm and Associated Variations in Lead Content

open access: yesPlant Direct, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Houttuynia cordata is an important medicinal and vegetable crop in Southwest China. Due to the accumulation of heavy metal ions such as lead ions (Pb2+) in H. cordata, consumption of this plant carries risks, such as ingestion of lead‐contaminated H. cordata, may lead to Pb2+ bioaccumulation, which is associated with developmental retardation,

Gastrodin Attenuates Cerebral Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury by Enhancing Mitochondrial Fusion and Activating the AMPK‐OPA1 Signaling Pathway

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 31, Issue 8, August 2025.
Gastrodin (Gas) exerts neuroprotective effects in mitigating cerebral I/R injury predominantly through activation of the AMPK‐OPA1 signaling pathway to regulate mitochondrial dynamics. ABSTRACT Background Cerebral ischemia–reperfusion (I/R) injury is a critical pathological process in stroke, characterized by disrupted energy metabolism, inflammatory ...

Gastrodia elata Blume and Zanthoxylum schinifolium Siebold &

open access: yesMedicina, 2021
Zucc (ZS) are known to exhibit hemostatic and antiplatelet effects as traditional medicines that have been used for a long time. In this study, we investigated the effect of a mixed extract of GE and ZS (MJGE09) on platelet aggregation and plasma coagulation. Results: We found that MJGE09 inhibited collagen-and ADP-induced platelet aggregation in vitro.
