Meta‐Analysis: Prevalence of Non‐Helicobacter pylori, Non‐NSAID Peptic Ulcer Disease
A meta‐analysis of 92 studies including 60,816 patients found that non‐H. pylori, non‐NSAID represent a non‐negligible but heterogeneous component of peptic ulcer disease. Among bleeding ulcers, this proportion increased over time, potentially reflecting evolving etiologic patterns beyond H. pylori infection and NSAID exposure.

We integrated 14 single‐cell RNA‐seq datasets and 18 bulk cohorts to define eight CAF subtypes in GI cancers. myCAF1 and myCAF2 promoted immunosuppressive, poor‐prognosis niches, whereas iCAF1 was linked to favorable prognosis and antitumor immunity.

Bile‐derived exosomal miR‐196a and miR‐196b are identified as novel biomarkers for biliary tract cancer. Serum miR‐196a levels are significantly elevated in advanced disease with metastasis, while both miRNAs contribute to tumor progression by promoting cancer cell proliferation and invasion.

Chemically modified siR‐PTBP1 disrupts the Warburg effect by reprogramming pyruvate kinase splicing from PKM2 to PKM1. This metabolic shift activates the TCA cycle, increases ATP production, and excessive ROS generation, and ultimately induces apoptotic cell death in colorectal cancer cells.
