circMAN1A2 as an Isoform‐Resolved Circular RNA Hub in Cancer

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
circMAN1A2 as an isoform‐resolved circular RNA hub in cancer. circMAN1A2 is generated by back‐splicing of MAN1A2 pre‐mRNA, with alternative circularization producing multiple isoforms, including the predominant circMAN1A2(2–5). Its mechanistic interfaces include miRNA‐associated regulation, RBP binding/proteostasis control, BSJ‐mediated RNA–RNA pairing,

CircHECTD1 Promotes Cholangiocarcinoma Progression Through Interaction With SFPQ to Induce Autophagy

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
CircHECTD1 directly interacts with SFPQ to upregulate ATG12 expression, thereby activating autophagy and promoting cholangiocarcinoma progression. This study uncovers a noncanonical circRNA–RNA‐binding protein regulatory mechanism and provides a potential therapeutic target for cholangiocarcinoma.

Processionary Moth Exposure in Europe: Toxic–Irritant and Immunoglobulin E‐Mediated Endotypes, Diagnosis and Management

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Allergy, EarlyView.
Most reactions are toxic–irritant, driven by epithelial injury and neuro‐inflammatory activation. IgE‐mediated allergy is less common but may cause immediate systemic reactions. Endotype differentiation guides diagnosis, risk stratification and management.

Dark diversity of flea (Siphonaptera) assemblages in South American rodents: Latitudinal and altitudinal gradients

open access: yesEcological Entomology, EarlyView.
The dark diversity of compound flea communities increased from north to south. The dark diversity of compound flea communities increased from lower to higher altitudes. The dark diversity of component flea communities also increased from north to south but did not vary with altitude.

Tapeworm testing: Coprological and antibody‐based approaches across colic types in a German equine hospital population

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Education, EarlyView.
Summary Background The association between tapeworm infection and equine colic is established, but gaps remain regarding specific colic types. Objectives To assess the relationship between tapeworm test results and equine colic types: The study aimed to determine if ileocaecal disorders (IC) are more frequently associated with Anoplocephala spp ...
