Beyond the chaos: How architecture structures tumour biology
Tissue architecture shapes tumour initiation and progression through multiple interconnected layers continuously remodelled over time. This review outlines how physical forces, biochemical cues, cellular niches and systemic influences contribute to tumour evolution.

The evolution of protostome GATA factors: Molecular phylogenetics, synteny, and intron/exon structure reveal orthologous relationships [PDF]
Background Invertebrate and vertebrate GATA transcription factors play important roles in ectoderm and mesendoderm development, as well as in cardiovascular and blood cell fate specification.

Quantitative analysis of DNA‐GATA1 binding alterations linked to hematopoietic disorders
Native holdup allows the quantitative determination of affinities between full‐length transcription factors and DNA. Mutations in either the protein or the DNA can modulate binding strength, which can be precisely quantified using this approach. Applied to GATA1, it revealed mutations that alter DNA binding.

Unraveling Heterogeneity in Epithelial Cell Fates of the Mammary Gland and Breast Cancer. [PDF]
Fluidity in cell fate or heterogeneity in cell identity is an interesting cell biological phenomenon, which at the same time poses a significant obstacle for cancer therapy.

Immunohistochemical analysis of transcription factors in GCNIS associated with pure EC and YST suggests that reprogramming to non‐seminoma occurs outside the spermatogonial niche. In these tumors, reprogramming may occur immediately upon invasion of the stroma or within seminiferous tubules but outside the spermatogonial niche (i.e., in intratubular ...

Acute Exudative Diffuse Proliferative Glomerulonephritis in A Patient with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
The prevalence of non-diabetic renal disease varies widely from 12 to 45% among type 2 diabetic patients proven by renal biopsy performed. We describe a case of a patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus and acute diffuse proliferative exudative ...
