High-resolution FPGA-pulse width modulation applied to PFC 2 MHz converter using eGaN field effect transistor

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
This study proposes an implementation based on a low-cost field-programmable gate array (FPGA) of a high-resolution pulse width modulation applied on a single-phase power factor correction (PFC) converter operating with 2 MHz switch frequency.

Theory of a field effect transistor based on semiconductor nanocrystal array [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. B 89, 235303 (2014), 2014
We study the surface conductivity of a field-effect transistor (FET) made of periodic array of spherical semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs). We show that electrons introduced to NCs by the gate voltage occupy one or two layers of the array. Computer simulations and analytical theory are used to study the array screening and corresponding evolution of ...

Arrays of Josephson junctions in an environment with vanishing impedance

open access: yes, 2000
The Hamiltonian operator for an unbiased array of Josephson junctions with gate voltages is constructed when only Cooper pair tunnelling and charging effects are taken into account.

Rydberg-blockade controlled-not gate and entanglement in a two-dimensional array of neutral-atom qubits [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We present experimental results on two-qubit Rydberg blockade quantum gates and entanglement in a two-dimensional qubit array. Without post selection against atom loss we achieve a Bell state fidelity of $0.73\pm 0.05$, the highest value reported to date.
