Gaslighting in the context of diagnostic safety: A concept analysis

open access: yesJournal of Healthcare Risk Management, EarlyView.
Abstract Diagnostic errors significantly impact patient outcomes and are often linked to dysfunctional team dynamics. Gaslighting, characterized by patterned distortion and doubt induction, is increasingly recognized among health care professionals and may compromise diagnostic safety.

Bridging Bystander Intervention and Workplace Inclusion: The Critical Role of Perceived Fairness, Support, and Safety

open access: yesJournal of Organizational Behavior, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bystander intervention is widely assumed to foster workplace inclusion, yet no studies have directly examined this relationship. Through abductive qualitative analysis of 53 interviews across two contrasting organisations—a consulting firm and a remote mine site—we investigate how bystander intervention relates to workplace inclusion for ...

Eliciting Mental Time Travel Through Digital Product Displays and Its Positive Influence on Purchase‐Oriented Outcomes

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drawing on cognitive science research, this study explores mental time travel and its elicitation through digital product displays. Specifically, we examine how digital product displays elicit mental time travel to the past and future and how this cognitive process positively influences three purchase‐oriented outcomes: inspiration to purchase,

Sonified Signals From a Compact FT‐ICR Instrument: A Feasibility Study. I—Data Mapping to an Equal‐Tempered Chromatic Scale

open access: yesRapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rationale Ions trapped within a Penning cell (ICR) travel periodic orbits whose frequencies are dependent on their mass‐to‐charge ratio and the value of the magnetic field passing through the trap. Fourier transformation (FT‐ICR) decomposes the signal induced in the detection circuit by the rotation of the ions in the cell after the ...

An autonomous network of acoustic detectors to map tiger risk by eavesdropping on prey alarm calls

open access: yesRemote Sensing in Ecology and Conservation, EarlyView.
Tiger population recovery brings with it increased fatalities from human‐tiger conflict. We describe a network of autonomous intelligent passive acoustic sensors that monitor the forest for deer alarm calls as a proxy for tiger risk and provide a risk map to local communities in real‐time.
