Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Novel approaches to perturbative scattering amplitudes in gauge theory and gravity
PhDScattering amplitudes of massless quanta play a crucial role in the calculation of cross sections for multi-jet production at hadron colliders. The framework provided by perturbative quantum field theory, based on Feynman diagrams, does not capture ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Electrofluids as liquid conductors with tunable gauge factors
Abstract Flexible and stretchable electronics require both sensing elements and stretching-insensitive electrical connections. Conductive polymer composites and liquid metal structures are highly deformable but strongly change their conductivity upon elongation.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Comment on "Gauge Invariance and $k_T$-Factorization of Exclusive Processes"
We point out mistakes made in the one-loop calculation of some diagrams for the process $πγ^* \to γ$ in the preprint arXiv:0807.0296, and present correct results. Especially, we have difficulty to understand their argument that a highly off-shell gluon generates a light-cone (infrared) singularity.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...
