Towards a Neuronal Gauge Theory. [PDF]
Given the amount of knowledge and data accruing in the neurosciences, is it time to formulate a general principle for neuronal dynamics that holds at evolutionary, developmental, and perceptual timescales?

The Poisson gauge algebra is a semi-classical limit of complete non- commutative gauge algebra. In the present work we formulate the Poisson gauge theory which is a dynamical field theoretical model having the Poisson gauge algebra as a corresponding ...

Gauge theory of Finance? [PDF]
Some problems with the recent stimulating proposal of a ``Gauge Theory of Finance'' by Ilinski and collaborators are outlined. First, the derivation of the log-normal distribution is shown equivalent both in information and mathematical content to the ...

Goldfishing by gauge theory [PDF]
A new solvable many-body problem of goldfish type is identified and used to revisit the connection among two different approaches to solvable dynamical systems. An isochronous variant of this model is identified and investigated.

On a class of gauge theories [PDF]
We give a framework to describe gauge theory in which a nonassociative Moufang loop takes the place of the structure group. The structure of such gauge theory has many formal similarities with that of Yang-Mills theory. We extend the gauge invariance to this theory and construct an on-shell version of N=1 supersymmetric gauge theory.

Holographic symmetry algebras for gauge theory and gravity [PDF]
All 4D gauge and gravitational theories in asymptotically flat spacetimes contain an infinite number of non-trivial symmetries. They can be succinctly characterized by generalized 2D currents acting on the celestial sphere.

SU(2) lattice gauge theory on a quantum annealer [PDF]
Lattice gauge theory is an essential tool for strongly interacting non-Abelian fields, such as those in quantum chromodynamics where lattice results have been of central importance for several decades.

Equivariant flow-based sampling for lattice gauge theory [PDF]
We define a class of machine-learned flow-based sampling algorithms for lattice gauge theories that are gauge invariant by construction. We demonstrate the application of this framework to U(1) gauge theory in two spacetime dimensions, and find that, at ...
