Experimental studies on the effect of nano silica modified novel concrete CFST columns
Under axial compression, the present article analyses and compares the behaviour of Plain Concrete filled and Nano Silica modified concrete filled with light gauge steel rectangular columns. In 18 work samples, plain and nano silica-modified concrete was

Strain Gauges Based 3D Shape Monitoring of Beam Structures Using Finite Width Gauge Model [PDF]
This paper presents a new approach validated experimentally to reconstruct with strain gauges the deformed shape of a straight beam with circular cross section. It is based on a novel beam-specific strain gauge model that improves the strain measurement by taking into account the width of the gauges.

Design and Fabrication of Single-Walled Carbon Nanonet Flexible Strain Sensors
This study presents a novel flexible strain sensor for real-time strain sensing. The material for strain sensing is single-walled carbon nanonets, grown using the alcohol catalytic chemical vapor deposition method, that were encapsulated between two ...

General one-loop formulas for decay $$h\rightarrow Z\gamma $$ h→Zγ
Radiative corrections to the decay $$h\rightarrow Z\gamma $$ h→Zγ are evaluated in the one-loop approximation. The unitary gauge is used. The analytic result is expressed in terms of the Passarino-Veltman functions.

Detectable dimension-6 proton decay in SUSY SO(10) GUT at Hyper-Kamiokande
In the minimal SUSY SU(5) GUT with O(1) TeV SUSY particles and O(1) or below self-coupling for the GUT-breaking Higgs field, the width of the dimension-6 proton decay is suppressed below the reach of Hyper-Kamiokande.

Decay widths of large-spin mesons from the noncritical string/gauge duality [PDF]
In this paper, we use the non-critical string/gauge duality to calculate the decay widths of large-spin mesons. Since it is believed that the string theory of QCD is not a ten dimensional theory, we expect that the non-critical versions of ten dimensional black hole backgrounds lead to better results than the critical ones.
