Clark-Ocone type formulas in the Meixner white noise analysis
In the classical Gaussian analysis the Clark-Ocone formula allows to reconstruct an integrand if we know the Ito stochastic integral. This formula can be written in the form$$F=\mathbf EF+\int\mathbf E\big\{\partial_t F|_{\mathcal F_t}\big\}dW_t,$$where ...

Measure of Similarity between GMMs by Embedding of the Parameter Space That Preserves KL Divergence
In this work, we deliver a novel measure of similarity between Gaussian mixture models (GMMs) by neighborhood preserving embedding (NPE) of the parameter space, that projects components of GMMs, which by our assumption lie close to lower dimensional ...

Thermometry of Gaussian quantum systems using Gaussian measurements
We study the problem of estimating the temperature of Gaussian systems with feasible measurements, namely Gaussian and photo-detection-like measurements. For Gaussian measurements, we develop a general method to identify the optimal measurement numerically, and derive the analytical solutions in some relevant cases.

An Objective No-Reference Measure of Illumination Assessment
Illumination problems have been an important concern in many image processing applications. An important issue in the field of illumination enhancement is absence of a quantitative measure for assessment of illumination of an image. In this research work

Fitting a Gaussian Mixture Model Through the Gini Index
A linear combination of Gaussian components is known as a Gaussian mixture model. It is widely used in data mining and pattern recognition. In this paper, we propose a method to estimate the parameters of the density function given by a Gaussian mixture ...

Gaussian Measure of Normal Subgroups
Let $(\mu_t)_{t>0}$ be a Gaussian semigroup on a metric, separable, complete group $G$. If $H$ is a Borel measurable normal subgroup of $G$ such that $\mu_t(H) > 0$ for all $t$, then $\mu_t(H) = 1$ for every $t$. If, in addition, $\mu_t$ are symmetric, then $\mu_t(H) > 0$ for a single $t$ implies $\mu_t(H) = 1$ for all $t$.

It is difficult to accurately measure parameters by using the traditional soft sensor algorithm when the working condition of industrial process is changed. Therefore, a transfer learning strategy is introduced based on geodesic flow kernel to solve this

Robust surface crack detection with structure line guidance
Crack detection plays a pivotal role in civil engineering applications, where vision-based methods find extensive use. In practice, crack images are sourced from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and handheld photography, and the balance between the ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
