Heat Conduction Modulation in Incommensurate Twisted Stacking of Transition‐Metal Dichalcogenide
The interlayer thermal conductance in twisted bilayer TMDs is initially investigated experimentally by the thermoreflectance method. The overlap of lattice vibrations within individual layers and the interlayer interactions, as elucidated through both Raman spectroscopy and molecular dynamics simulations, are demonstrated to be critical factors in ...

An asymmetric non‐fullerene acceptor BTP‐FT is developed by extending the end group of Y6‐BO with thiophene. The conformation of the molecule is determined by the noncovalent F···S interaction as demonstrated by 2D NMR and simulations. An efficiency of 18.39% is achieved in the resulting ternary solar cells processed from toluene.

Views about ChatGPT: Are human decision making and human learning necessary? [PDF]
Using individual-level survey data from 2024, this study investigated how respondent characteristics are associated with a subjective view of generative artificial intelligence (GAI). We asked 14 questions concerning respondents view about GAI, such as general view, faulty GAI, autonomous GEI, GAI replacing humans, and importance of human learning ...

Generative AI in Higher Education: A Global Perspective of Institutional Adoption Policies and Guidelines [PDF]
Integrating generative AI (GAI) into higher education is crucial for preparing a future generation of GAI-literate students. Yet a thorough understanding of the global institutional adoption policy remains absent, with most of the prior studies focused on the Global North and the promises and challenges of GAI, lacking a theoretical lens.

Generative AI as a Playful yet Offensive Tourist: Exploring Tensions Between Playful Features and Citizen Concerns in Designing Urban Play [PDF]
Play is pivotal in fostering the emotional, social, and cultural dimensions of urban spaces. While generative AI (GAI) potentially supports playful urban interaction, a balanced and critical approach to the design opportunities and challenges is needed.

Self‐organized Criticality in Neuromorphic Nanowire Networks With Tunable and Local Dynamics
Memristive nanowire networks (NWNs) are shown to be electrically tunable to a critical state where specific local dynamics evaluated by multiterminal characterization are exploited as feature selection in nonlinear transformation (NLT) tasks.
