Kantarat-ü Çarhıyân war was made between Karahanids and Ghaznavids. In the war made in 397/1007, near Belh, Gazneli Mahmud’s army defeated Ilig Khan’s army and forced to withdraw to the east of the Ceyhun River. After this date Karahanids didn’t any attempt to capture Khorasan region.
