An Axiomatic Approach to Support in Argumentation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
International audienceIn the context of bipolar argumentation (argumentation with two kinds of interaction, attacks and supports), we present an axiomatic approach for taking into account a special interpretation of the support relation, the necessary ...

Concept for a Dual Frequency Dual Constellation GBAS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper proposes one possible concept for a dual frequency dual constellation GBAS architecture. It is based on a single frequency L5/E5a mode as primary processing scheme for best standard performance, a switch to an ionosphere free combination in ...

Convergent Validity of Game-Based Assessment: A Meta-Analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Serious Games
Game-Based Assessments (GBAs) have emerged as innovative tools for measuring personality traits, particularly in recruitment and employee selection. This meta-analysis aims to evaluate the convergent validity of GBAs compared to traditional self-report ...

Evaluating GNSS integrity augmentation techniques for UAS sense-and-avoid [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) far exceed the navigation accuracies provided by other state-of-the-art sensors for aerospace applications. This can support the development of low-cost and high performance navigation and guidance architectures

GBAS Ionospheric Anomaly Monitoring Based on a Two-Step Approach

open access: yesSensors, 2016
As one significant component of space environmental weather, the ionosphere has to be monitored using Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers for the Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS).

A GNSS Integrity Augmentation System for Ground Vehicle Operations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The employment of GNSS for the navigation of autonomous ground vehicles has so far been applied to mining operations in Australia. Autonomous systems enable the development of navigation strategies such as global path-planning and path optimization for ...

Redundant inertial-aided GBAS for civil aviation [PDF]

open access: yes2010 5th ESA Workshop on Satellite Navigation Technologies and European Workshop on GNSS Signals and Signal Processing (NAVITEC), 2010
In this article, we investigate the impact of redundant MEMS-IMU on a loosely coupled INS/GBAS system. Therefore, we considered and analyze the combined performance of three identically and orthogonally mounted low-cost IMUs. It is shown that due to the redundancy, the INS based position error is reduced by an average factor of two.

Triple Method Approach to Development of a Genre-Based Approach to Teaching ESL/EFL Writing: A Systematic Literature Review by Bibliometric, Content, and Scientometric Analyses

open access: yesSAGE Open, 2023
In the last 19 years (2003–2021), research on genre-based approaches (GBAs) to writing pedagogy has been accumulating in the fields of English as a second language (ESL) and English as a foreign language (EFL).
