What is the impact of giant cell arteritis on patients' lives?: a UK qualitative study [PDF]
Objectives: Clinical management of giant cell arteritis (GCA) involves balancing the risks and burdens arising from the disease with those arising from treatment, but there is little research on the nature of those burdens. We aimed to explore the impact

ABSTRACT Drawing on dynamic capabilities view and upper echelons theory, this study shows how energy‐sector SMEs convert dynamic capabilities into green competitive advantage. We theorize that sensing–seizing–reconfiguring routines are associated with green competitive advantage only when top managers visibly prioritize environmental goals and foster a

Hybrid water electrolysis has emerged as a promising alternative to conventional electrolysis for sustainable hydrogen production. The economic potential of replacing water oxidation with organic substrates is assessed. For each substrate, representative electrocatalysts and mechanistic insights are reviewed to identify design principles for optimized ...

Abstract Background Schwann cells provide peripheral nerve trophic support, myelinate axons, and assist in repair. However, Schwann cell repair capacity is limited by chronic injury, disease, and aging. Schwann cell reprogramming is a cellular conversion strategy that could provide a renewable cell supply to repair injured nerves.

Abstract Background Sporadic venous malformation (VM) is associated with the hyperactivating p.L914F mutation in TIE2, a receptor tyrosine kinase essential for vascular development. This mutation is not found in hereditary VM, suggesting incompatibility with life when expressed during early vascular development.
