GCM Security Bounds Reconsidered [PDF]
A constant of \(2^{22}\) appears in the security bounds of the Galois/Counter Mode of Operation, GCM. In this paper, we first develop an algorithm to generate nonces that have a high counter-collision probability. We show concrete examples of nonces with the counter-collision probability of about \(2^{20.75}/2^{128}\).

Additive Manufacturing of Ni‐Based Thermoelectric Materials for Waste Heat Recovery
Thermoelectric generators convert waste heat into electricity but are constrained by conventional fabrication. Here, laser powder bed fusion enables direct printing of customised n‐type Cu60Ni40 and p‐type Ni90Cr10 legs. The assembled module achieves 0.8% efficiency at ΔT = 419 K, demonstrating scalable additive manufacturing of eco‐friendly, design ...

Security analysis of GCM for communication
ABSTRACTThe Galois/Counter Mode of operations (GCM) is constructed by combining the counter mode encryption and the authentication component (i.e., GTAG) to provide both privacy and authenticity. GTAG can be used as a stand‐alone message authentication code.
