Potential use of a diluted high-relaxivity gadolinium-based intra-articular contrast agent for magnetic resonance arthrography: an in-vitro study

open access: yesBMC Medical Imaging, 2019
Background Magnetic resonance arthrography (MRA) requires intra-articular injection of gadolinium-based diluted paramagnetic contrast material. To our knowledge, gadobenate dimeglumine (Gd-BOPTA) has never been used for intra-articular applications.

Gd-Dtpa-Enhanced Mr Imaging of Pituitary Macroadenomas [PDF]

open access: yesActa Radiologica, 1992
In a study comprising 40 patients with pituitary macroadenomas, MR imaging was performed before and after administration of Gd-DTPA. Before contrast administration T1- and T2-weighted images were obtained, and after the injection, frontal and/or sagittal T1-weighted images.

Contrast Enhancement of the Brain by Folate-Conjugated Gadolinium–Diethylenetriaminepentaacetic Acid–Human Serum Albumin Nanoparticles by Magnetic Resonance Imaging

open access: yesMolecular Imaging, 2012
Different from regular small molecule contrast agents, nanoparticle-based contrast agents have a longer circulation time and can be modified with ligands to confer tissue-specific contrasting properties.

Combined Application of Gadoxetic Acid Disodium-Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Diffusion-Weighted Imaging (DWI) in the Diagnosis of Chronic Liver Disease-Induced Hepatocellular Carcinoma: A Meta-Analysis. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
Gadoxetic acid disodium (Gd-EOB-DTPA) is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent to target the liver cells with normal function. In clinical practice, the Gd-EOB-DTPA produces high quality hepatocyte specific image 20 minutes after intravenous ...

MRI of acute myocardial ischemia: Comparing a new contrast agent, Gd-DTPA-24-cascade-polymer, with Gd-DTPA [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 1999
A new macromolecular contrast agent, gadolinium diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (Gd-DTPA)-24-cascade-polymer, was compared with Gd-DTPA for time-dependent delineation of acute myocardial ischemia. Acute myocardial ischemia was produced in 12 rats by occluding the anterior branch of the left coronary artery for 20-40 minutes.

Gadolinium-hyaluronic acid nanoparticles as an efficient and safe magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent for articular cartilage injury detection

open access: yesBioactive Materials, 2020
Accurate detection of cartilage injuries is critical for their proper treatment because these injuries lack the self-healing ability and lead to joint dysfunction.

Vascular and hepatic enhancements at MR imaging: comparison of Gd-EOB-DTPA and Gd-DTPA in the same subjects

open access: yes, 2017
Objective: The objective was to compare vascular and hepatic enhancement differences at magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) between Gd-EOB-DTPA and Gd-DTPA in the same subjects. ;Methods: Ten healthy subjects received dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI)

Comparison of Gd-Bz-TTDA, Gd-EOB-DTPA, and Gd-BOPTA for dynamic MR imaging of the liver in rat models

open access: yesKaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, 2012
To evaluate the competitive potential of a new lipophilic paramagnetic complex, Gd-Bz-TTDA [4-benzyl-3,6,10-tri (carboxymethyl)-3,6,10-triazado-decanedioic acid] compared with two other commercially available MR hepatobiliary contrast agents, gadobenate ...

Ultra‐Radiostable Covalent Conformationally Interlocked Networks Enabling a Universal Radiometal‐Labeling Platform for Cancer Radioembolization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conjugated poly(imide dioxime)‐based microspheres establish a radiometal coordination‐driven conformational interlocked network with ultra‐high radiostability. This platform enables low‐temperature, multi‐radionuclide labeling for SPECT/PET/MRI imaging and radionuclide therapy. Mechanistic insights from EXAFS and DFT reveal enhanced stability, while in
