The spread of non‐native species

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The global redistribution of species through human agency is one of the defining ecological signatures of the Anthropocene, with biological invasions reshaping biodiversity patterns, ecosystem processes and services, and species interactions globally.

Biology and fisheries of the spotted flounder (Citharus linguatula) caught by multiple gears with partial spatiotemporal overlaps

open access: yesAquatic Living Resources, 2017
Obtaining data to study fish biology can be a challenge if a stock is fished by a variety of gears with different effort units and different selectivity, particularly if these gears only partially overlap in space and time.

Selection of Method for Electronic Gear Control

open access: yesIzvestiya MGTU MAMI, 2009
The article examines solution of the task of gear control in tractor transmissions. There are three main layouts of friction clutch installation within tractor transmission. For each one the mathematical formulation is given. The authors suggest possible criteria for selection of gear control method under load.

Charting the Course: Real‐World Application of Sustainability and Innovation Principles in the Portuguese Blue Economy Firms

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The blue economy has emerged as a key sector for linking sustainability and innovation, yet existing research has largely overlooked how firms operationalize these processes in practice. This study addresses that gap by asking: How do Portuguese blue economy firms embed sustainability‐oriented innovation (SOI) into their strategies, and what ...

Strategic Innovation for Sustainability: A Conceptual Model Linking Digitalization, Social Dynamics, and Climate Change Mitigation

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study addresses a significant research gap in the literature by systematically reviewing and synthesizing the interplay between social dynamics, environmental changes, and organizational innovation. Although prior research has explored these dimensions in isolation, the integrative framework remains lacking.

Research on design method of non-circular planetary gear train transplanting mechanism based on precise poses and trajectory optimization

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2018
Among all kinds of transplanting mechanisms which are the important parts of transplanters, the planetary gear train transplanting mechanism is widely used for its excellent transmission performance, but it is difficult to design the gear pitch curves ...

Next Generation Hosts for Protein Recognition, Assembly and More

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The original design of synthetic receptors for proteins was based on macrocycles with a hydrophobic core and a polar/charged periphery. This design, geared towards protein recognition, facilitates receptor self‐assembly. Macrocycle oligomerization, in turn, contributes to protein assembly as evidenced in many cocrystal structures.

Sustainable Business Model Innovation and Firm's Performance: A Multiple Case Study in the Agri‐Food Industry

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This research investigates how sustainability‐oriented initiatives aimed at innovating a firm's business model can lead to different economic, social and environmental performance configurations, with the objective of identifying the determinants that explain these differences. We carried out a multiple case study, selecting firms based on the
