Flyway connectivity and exchange primarily driven by moult migration in geese
For the conservation and management of migratory species that strongly decrease or increase due to anthropological impacts, a clear delineation of populations and quantification of possible mixing (migratory connectivity) is crucial.

A (2R,3R)‐butanediol dehydrogenase from Bacillus subtilis (BsBDH) is engineered for the enantioselective synthesis of 2‐hydroxycyclohexanone. A PASS computational design strategy is proposed to enhance the thermostability of BsBDH. Moreover, ESM‐1v combined with ISM is utilized for enhancing and inverting its stereoselectivity.

Gli1+ adventitial stem cells (ASCs) have been thought to generate smooth muscle cells (SMCs) in atherosclerosis. Using a dual‐recombinase lineage tracing to exclude ectopic labeling, Wang et al. found that Gli1+ ASCs do not contribute to SMCs in atherosclerotic plaques.

Comparison of the broody behavior characteristics of different breeds of geese.
A low laying performance in goose is one of the key factors preventing the industrial development, and the laying performance is related to broody behavior. However, the characteristics of broody behavior in geese remain unclear. In this study, the total

A macrophage–platelet conjugation system (M‐P‐NPs@PPARγ) targets injure tissue to co‐deliver platelet mitochondria and PPARγ‐encoding NPs. This strategy boosts the macrophage energy supply and restores lipid homeostasis, leading to synergistically enhanced efferocytosis and tissue repair Abstract Mitochondrial dysfunction occurs in macrophages with ...
