This work emphasizes solid state polymerization (SSP) as a modification tool for altering the properties of PLA microcapsules (MCs). Therefore, the SSP process is optimized in order to avoid particle aggregation, and its kinetics is studied. Also, loaded MCs are subjected to SSP, resulting in changing release rate.

Reactive Oligomeric Compatibilizers: Chain Length and Additive Effects on PLA/PBAT Phase Interaction
This study explores the development of tailored compatibilizers made from PLA and PBAT oligomers, enhanced with reactive additives like ESBO and adipic acid. By combining spectroscopic, thermal, and rheological analyses, the work demonstrates how molecular structure and additive selection control the phase behavior and mechanical properties of the ...

Schematic of the enhancement of CO2 separation by the PESPPO modified Matrimid 5218. ABSTRACT This study aims to synthesize and characterize poly(arylene ether sulfone) containing phenylphosphine oxide (PESPPO) group and incorporate it into Matrimid 5218 at different loadings to fabricate membranes for CO2 separation from CH4 and N2.
