Generalizing generalized tries
A trie is a search tree scheme that employs the structure of search keys to organize information. Tries were originally devised as a means to represent a collection of records indexed by strings over a fixed alphabet. Based on work by C. P. Wadsworth and others, R. H. Connelly and F. L.

Generalizing the generalized Petersen graphs
AbstractThe generalized Petersen graphs (GPGs) which have been invented by Watkins, may serve for perhaps the simplest nontrivial examples of “galactic” graphs, i.e. those with a nice property of having a semiregular automorphism. Some of them are also vertex-transitive or even more highly symmetric, and some are Cayley graphs.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF LAW [PDF]
According to Professor Djuvara “law can be a science, and legal knowledge can also become science when, referring to a number as large as possible of acts of those covered by law, sorts and connects them by their essential characters upon legal concepts ...

General Video Game Rule Generation [PDF]
We introduce the General Video Game Rule Generation problem, and the eponymous software framework which will be used in a new track of the General Video Game AI (GVGAI) competition. The problem is, given a game level as input, to generate the rules of a game that fits that level.

Tumor microenvironment drives cancer formation and progression. We analyzed the role of human cancer‐associated adipocytes from patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) stratified as lean, overweight, or obese. RNA‐seq demonstrated that, among the most altered genes involved in the tumor–stroma crosstalk, are ADAM12 and CYP1B1, which were proven to be ...

Generalized Baer and Generalized Quasi-Baer Rings of Skew Generalized Power Series [PDF]
Let $R$ be a ring with identity, $(S,\leq)$ an ordered monoid, $\omega:S \to End(R)$ a monoid homomorphism, and $A= R\left[\left[S,\omega \right]\right]$ the ring of skew generalized power series. The concepts of generalized Baer and generalized quasi-Baer rings are generalization of Baer and quasi-Baer rings, respectively.

Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon

The Problem of Generalizing Generation
Research into the religious beliefs and behaviors of children, young people, adults and elderly people prompt questions about the way “generation” is understood in the social scientific study of religion. What seems to the researcher at first to be shared values and beliefs on broad “social code” issues appear, at least to older people, to be lacking ...
